On April 1^st 2020, LAOSAT donated 100 million KIP to support and assist the Lao government in the prevention and control of the spread of the COVID-19 virus at the Prime Minister’s Office. Mr. Somdi DUANGDI, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of MOF, and Mr. Ding Yongbing, General Manager of LAOSAT attended this event as representatives.

On April 1, 2020, LAOSAT Asia-Pacific Company Limited donated 100,000,000 KIP to support and assist the government in the movement to prevent, control, and resolve the spread of the COVID-19 virus at the Prime Minister's Office. The donation was presented by Mr. Ding Yongbing, General Manager of LAOSAT Asia-Pacific Company Limited, along with the company's senior management, and received on behalf of the government by Mr. Somdi Duangdi, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, and Head of the Special Committee for the Prevention, Control, and Resolution of the Spread of the New Strain of COVID-19 Virus.
