On May 15^th 2020, Ministry of National Defense and LAOSAT held a signing ceremony for the TV satellite service transmission to complete the telecommunication and radio television framework in Lao PDR, especially, help finish the national defense and public security task. Mr. Chansamone XAYYALATH, Minister of MOD, Mr. Thansamy KOMMASITH, Minister of MPT, Mr. Hiem PHOMMACHAN, Chairman of LAOSAT, Mr. Ding Yongbing, General Manager of LAOSAT and other Government Officers joined this event.

On May 15, 2020, a signing ceremony was held for the TV satellite signal transmission service between the Ministry of National Defense and LAOSAT Company Limited to support telecommunications and broadcasting services nationwide, particularly to serve national defense and public security tasks. The event was attended by Mr. Chansamone XAYYALATH, Minister of National Defense, Mr. Thansamy KOMMASITH, Minister of Telecommunications and Communications, Mr. Hiem PHOMMACHAN, Chairman of LAOSAT, Mr. Ding Yongbing, General Manager of LAOSAT, along with other government officials and related personnel.
