To evaluate and review the implementation of strategies, plans, and expectations of the open conference of the Lao Asia-Pacific Satellite Company Limited, Unit I, in the past period, to assess the political responsibilities of the party unit and conduct political life, mutual criticism and self-criticism within the party unit.
On the morning of June 16, 2023, the party unit of the Lao Satellite Company held its mid-term conference at the ground station under the presidency of Mr. Sisane Pongnathi, the party unit secretary and deputy director general of the Lao Satellite Company, with the honor of joint chairmanship by Mr. Bandit S.J. Boviengkham Vongdala, a central committee member, party executive secretary, and Minister of Technology and Communications. The conference was attended by monitoring and promoting committees from the Ministry of Technology and Communications, full and alternate party members within the Lao Satellite Company unit.
During the conference, Mr. Sisane Pongnathi, the party unit secretary, passed resolutions approving the opening of the mid-term conference of the Lao Satellite Company party unit and delivered the opening speech. On this occasion, Mr. Bandit S.J. Boviengkham Vongdala, a central committee member, party executive secretary, and Minister of Technology and Communications, had the honor to disseminate and absorb three important documents of the central committee:
Subsequently, the conference reviewed the summary of the implementation of tasks in the past half-term, set directions for the upcoming term, presented by Mr. Sisane Pongnathi, the party unit secretary. Additionally, it received the survey report on leadership and guidance of the party unit, presented by Mr. Kamtan Phommajan, deputy party unit secretary and inspection committee chairman. The conference also heard comments from party members on the mentioned documents to ensure comprehensive content, along with conducting trust assessments on collective leadership, individual members of the party unit, and individual evaluations to identify strengths, weaknesses, lessons learned, and areas for improvement in the future.
At the end of the conference, there was an honored discussion by Mr. Bandit S.J. Boviengkham Vongdala, a central committee member, party executive secretary, and Minister of Technology and Communications, who expressed admiration for the political duties performed during the past mid-term of the Lao Satellite Company party unit. He emphasized the need for the party unit and all party members to focus on unresolved areas to find solutions for successful outcomes according to expectations. He urged the party unit and all party members to continue exercising their rights and duties, applying wisdom, effort, and unity to fulfill their high responsibilities and achieve the expected results.
